Meet Dr. Paz
Jeff Paz, D.D.S.
Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine
After graduating from St. Mary’s University with a Biochemistry degree, Dr. Paz commenced his training at Tufts University with a focus on Molecular Craniofacial Development-spawning his interest in craniofacial development, specifically craniofacial orthopedics. Dr. Paz later finished his clinical training at the University of Texas School of Dentistry-Houston. Dr. Paz has authored and lectured extensively across the United States on topics ranging from bone reconstruction and craniofacial development, to evidence based practice and obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Paz remains committed to excellent patient care by continuing to serve as adjunct faculty at the UT-Health School of Dentistry in San Antonio, helping train other dentists. Dr. Paz is excited and passionate about sleep disordered breathing and the dentist’s role in managing the airway. Currently he serves on the educational committee for the AADSM along with acting as a consultant to two medical manufacturers. Dr. Paz trained under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Richard Drake and Dr. Keith Thornton arguably the best sleep dentists in the world. In San Antonio, he maintains a private practice limited to airway management and T.M.D. therapy; where thousands of patients have been managed.
